Cerberus has many different forms that he takes, depending on how his master needs him to be, or which head is currently in control. Given that he is the guardian of the Underworld, he has no real species other than the fact that he normally is a giant three headed undead dog dragon thing. However, when he roams the halls of the house, he usually appears to be a fairly normal looking guy.
Human Forms: Cerberus has three distinctive human forms, Human, which is fairly innocent looking and could easily pass as a regular human, Normal, which is the form that he usually is in, as this form belongs to the most dominant head, and Dark form, which is, needless to say, fairly dark.
-Human Cerberus stands at about 5'10" or so with a lean figure and dark blue-black hair that is cut in a rather straight line down to his shoulders. He has bright golden eyes and a happy go lucky sort of expression, as fits with his attitude. He usually wears a dark colored t-shirt over a white long sleeved shirt and light tan or brown pants, like khakis. He also has nearly knee high black combat boots with giant silver buckles on them. He likes to wear a necklace made up of two black straps and a blue gem of some sort dangling from it.
-Normal Cerberus stands at roughly 6'1" with a muscular build to him. He has shaggy navy colored hair and bright golden eyes. He usually has on golden earrings and a giant black spiked collar. This form of Cerberus has many markings all long his body that tend to be a dark blue-black color like his hair. Occasionally he will also sport fluffy ears or a big fluffy tail, but he has to be in a really good mood to do so. This form of Cerberus does not really see the importance of clothing, and will literally just walk around in a loin cloth or boxer shorts.
-Dark Cerberus stands only around 5'8" or so, and no one really knows what his real build is because he buries himself in a giant black cloak that is way too big for him. He also wears black bandages wrapped around his head and eyes, as well as his arms and legs. He has black hair in a shaggy cut, and his eyes, assuming you ever get a change to see them, are a brilliant bright red. He also has many markings along his body, but they are red instead of black. This Cerberus also has the ability to sprout bone claws from between his fingers, they are very long and sharp, but very thin. He has black ear clasps on his ears. And he likes to sport fangs as well.

-Fluff Form Cerberus is a very small, dark blue-black colored puff ball. Humans think that perhaps he is likened to a Pomeranian, but perhaps a little bigger. He has big black eyes and wears a black spiked collar. This is the only of his dog forms that has a single head, and is usually controlled by the happier of them.
-Sleek Dog Form Cerberus has three heads and very sleek fur. His fur is black with blue beneath it. In this form, he usually sports metallic wing armor on his shoulder blades, and each of his silvery metallic collars have different designs on them. He stands about as high as a medium sized dog, like a Doberman or a German Shepard even.
-True Form Cerberus is exactly that. In his true form, Cerberus is rather large, but he can change his size at will. His true form also has three heads, and each of them looks just slightly different. In this form, Cerberus again, has blue fur, and two of the heads wear spiked collars. Thick black scales go down his back and tail. He also seems to have blue flames coming off of him at any given time. He very rarely takes this form unless he is actually in the Underworld.

Cerberus has three heads, this means that each head has its own personality.
The Happy Head - Barry Cerberus's most happy head is also the most timid and therefor not seen as often. He struts around in Cerberus's Human form or Fluff form most of the time. Barry had his name given to him by a previous Master and he enjoys it very much. Everything about this head is happy-go-lucky and optimistic, so it is truly very hard to bring him down. He enjoys a fine array of everything basically, and is always there to offer a kind word or a smile should you need one. He also is fairly hyper and annoys most people with how darn happy he is all of the time.
The Dominant Head - Cerberus This head is the one that is in control most of the time. He is fairly calm and calculated and logical. He is a very good servant, however he can be quite lazy from time to time. He will reluctantly carry out orders on his lazy days, but that doesn't mean that he likes it. Cerberus can also be very aggressive from time to time if pushed to his limits or trapped in situations that he would rather not be in. He does know how to fight and will very willingly do so if pushed.
The Dark Head - Reaper This head is just as bit mysterious as he is protective. He is completely and utterly silent. He never makes any sort of noise, even while walking. It is rumored that he actually enjoys sneaking up on people and scaring the ever loving shit out of them. Of all of the heads, he is also the most dangerous, as he will kill whoever he has to, whether it is an order or if it is just time for that person to go. He seems to have no remorse and no emotion whatsoever.

His home had always been the underworld. He had been made by the god, Hades a long time ago to usher in the souls of the dead, or to eat the ones that were completely unworthy of crossing into the Underworld, and into his Master's domain. He had cherished this position for quite a long time until the realm that Hades built had slowly begun to turn into something else. Once Abbadon was made and the Fallen Angels began to take over, Cerberus found himself fairly jobless. Of course this drove him to scouring the streets for scraps and whining at people's doorways. But eventually, he found a better place to be.
After -
The house had been a salvation of sorts for the poor lost pup. He had found himself a new home with a new master who took such good care of him, even offering him, essentially, his old job back. He would go around sniffing out the souls that truly deserved to be damned, and the ones that would not, and even began to usher them into hell! It has been a good life for him so far!
