It takes something truly real to breach her sociopathy, something to actually form a bond with, something actually tangible. Small talk is a definitive no-zone if you want to form something real with her. While on a base level she will try her best to appear good on all sides, there comes a time you need to choose sides, and her sociopath tendencies lead her to still try and play both sides. This certainly has the potential to spiral out of control and inevitably end in being wanted dead by two sides for an issue she could've just bypassed. However, in this circumstance there is a physical aspect of love, something that actually makes her feel good, frankly for obvious reasons. The emotional side of it is much like a combination between achieving a real friendship through some sort of means detailed earlier, something truly real, and then the physical aspects of love. While certainly distorted, it's just about as close as she can get to the real thing without having an individual dictate how it works for her.
