[attr="class","about_1"] General Rules
There is nothing left to fear
[attr="class","content"]
Below are the general rules of the site that you are expected to follow. Usually, there are a lot of them, but most of them are fairly common sense, so you will only find ones that are important to this site specifically.
Basic RP Etiquette - No Godmodding/powerplaying, be respectful, no harassment, no spamming, blah blah. The rules you would find at any rp site. Most of these are fairly common sense, and if you don't know them by now, or if you've never rp'd before, you might be subject to a warning or two before serious action is taken.
Information and Questions - There may be a lot of information lingering around the site, and if you really want to get actively involved, you really do have to read it all. The plot is subject to grow and change with all new ideas, either from the admin or from the members, so make sure to read all new information that gets posted. Usually there will be update announcements outlining all of the new information. Not all of the information might be on the site yet, and a lot of it may be in the admin's head. If there are things you do not understand, please do ask questions. The admins and members will not bite.
I'm being totally serious here. I have been known to be really picky about things from time to time. But I am also always open to ideas and don't usually limit my members creativity. Because this is an original plot, built from my creative mind, I want you to ask questions about things you don't understand. If you have questions about the rules, about the races, about the powers, about the characters themselves, anything. PLEASE ASK!
If you don't ask and I go to review your bio and you are completely ignoring my requirements, I will not be nice about rejecting you. I have the right to be upset at people breaking the rules, when I am more than willing to work with you. So please. Ask.
Chatbox and Discord - We have both a chatbox and a discord channel. The chatbox is not to be used as an IC chat, but tagging may be allowed if it is not being used for other things. Discord will probably be more active than the cbox, so please keep that in mind. IC channels may be set up in the discord in the future. The cbox rules are found next to the cbox, and discord's rules are in the discord rule channel.
Site Rating - According to Proboards TOS, the site itself must remain PG-13ish. All content that is over that can be taken to the NC-17+ channels that are set up in discord. You must get permission from Admin;Akira to access those channels. Please keep that content off of the site itself.
Things you may read in posts here: Moderate violence; Mention of nudity or suggestion of sex(without the act itself, fade to black people), mild drugs, weapons, alcohol, swearing.
Character Limits - You are allowed as many characters as you can handle. However, they are one per account, like most sites are now. If your characters become too much for you to handle, you can move them to the adoptions or inactive/retired section.If you put a character up for trade, you are accepting to delete the account related to that character, as soon as an applicant is approved for that character, so that they may use that character. We also have the option for NPC characters, which all have their own accounts and their own bio. These are characters that you can claim if they come up actively in your threads, but aren't musey enough or important enough to be actual characters. There is no limit on NPCs either.
Applications/Bios - You are REQUIRED to use the bio that is PROVIDED! I reserve the right to reject any application, and I will, however, if your character is denied you will be told why and be given a time limit to fix the mistakes. If you are still not approved, message the admin, that would be Admin;Akira, and we can work something out. Most of the time, I am more than happy to work with people about their ideas. All you need to do is ask. I don't bite. And I would rather you ask about questionable things, than reject an application.
Also, you cannot start roleplaying until your character is accepted. If you have other characters, fine. Log out and go play as them. Anime/video game pictures are accepted. No real life fcs please. Ruins the aesthetic. You can draw your people too if you want to. Just make sure hand drawn, or electronically drawn characters have the proper sized graphics. If you need something edited to the proper size, Admin;Akira is more than willing to help out.
Who's Who and FC claims must be placed before, or immediately after your bio is accepted. But you do not need to wait for an admin to update the claims before you start rping. As soon as your bio is accepted and your claims are posted, you can do whatever you like. Admins will update the lists periodically.
Also, if you have a pending bio, and someone else uses your fc, you have the right to reserve it. However, if that bio is not finished within a week and the other person's is, they can use that fc.
Disclaimer - All rules, lists, plots, guides, are subject to change at any given time. admin;akira changes things quite often, as ideas for things come and go. If changes have been made to something important, and announcement will be posted. And yes, if something has changed, you are required to read it.
